Your tasks:
- Manage a team of 10+ people, plan and support 50% org growth over the next 6 months
- Define a framework and conduct active performance management
- Design and execute career progression for your direct reports
- Develop managers and ICs on the data side to get the best out of themselves
- Ensure data is on the map for everyone in the company, close gaps between data and product/business.
- Establish efficient and reliable communication towards data stakeholders
- Establish processes and structures to facilitate collaboration between data, business and product
- Be the representative of all data functions in the top management circle
- Define and execute a clear data strategy how analytics and data product helps both growth and efficiency of COS
- Own and allocate the budget for efficient execution of the strategy
- Support CarOnSale to enable more data-driven decision-making at COS.
Your profile:
- Proven experience in building up and managing data analytics, data infrastructure and data product teams.
- Strong business and product understanding.
- Proven experience in defining and executing data strategy
- Proven experience in defining strategy for data products (e.g. ML based products)
- Excellent communication skills in English (C1+)
- Experience in fast-paced environments (startups, scale-ups)
